And we can still buy it! I was only looking at it on a supermarket shelf and smiling as I recalled it being served up as "exotic". There again, it wasn't until I was on my first foreign holiday (Greece) that I realised what peaches were *supposed* to taste like.

Our parents coped during the war, when used tea leaves were dried on a hearth shovel to be used again with new, and a segment of orange was pure luxury.
